Faith + You

When things are going well, we tend to be more carefree and joyous, naturally so.  However, the trying times teach us to be humble, cautious, and faithful.  Faith requires a certain level of trust for the things that cannot be seen with the naked eye.  There is a special type of intimacy with The Most High that allows us to trust that the unknown is guiding us exactly where we need to be.  I’d like to touch on this because things have a way of “looking” like they are not working out, but the trust factor that is required of faith should be met with vulnerability.  If you look at your past, you know things worked out for the better.  Why would it be any different this time around?  New circumstances and people have the ability to intimidate you if you allow it.  That place of faith requires patience, peace and your thoughts to be shifted on the things that you can control.  Faith does not require you to work on its behalf.  Things are already set in place to manifest on the path of least resistance.  This is why we have so much strife when we try to control the uncontrollable.  Anytime there is resistance, you are operating from a place of fear.  Fear cannot reside at the home of faith.  Do yourself a favor and get out of your own way.  Activate your faith muscles and create a life that is more conducive to peace, happiness and positivity.  Work at these muscles until they are no longer sore.  Most importantly, keep the faith!
